Repair of the bumper

This landrover has a bumper welded to the chassis.

When this part is rusted trough it needs replacing. Spare parts are available to do the job. They had to be long enough because in this case a part of the chassis was rotted.

We first looked to where we could cut the chassis so we would have enough overlap to weld in the repair part.

After welding everything was assembled again and painted for prtection.
