Shipping Policy

Due to recent developments within the Belgian and international postal and transport sectors, the shipment of firearms, essential firearm components and ammunition has become increasingly restricted. Most postal and courier services no longer accept such items for transport or impose very strict conditions.

To ensure safety, legal compliance and the proper transfer of regulated goods, Orije J.  no longer ships firearms, essential firearm components or ammunition via postal or courier services.

All firearms must be collected in person from our premises, subject to verification of the required permits, identification documents and legal requirements. Where transfer through a licensed firearms dealer is permitted, this can only be arranged by prior agreement and in accordance with applicable legislation.

 Warranty Policy

 New Firearms

All new firearms are covered by a **2-year warranty** from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and material faults under normal use.

Used and New Old Stock (NOS) Firearms

Used firearms and New Old Stock (NOS) firearms are covered by a **1-year warranty** from the date of purchase. This warranty covers hidden defects and faults that are not the result of normal wear and tear, improper use, unauthorized modifications or insufficient maintenance.

 Repairs

All repair work and replacement parts supplied by us are covered by a **6-month warranty** from the date the repair is completed. This warranty applies solely to the work performed and the parts replaced.

 Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

* Normal wear and tear of components.
* Damage caused by misuse, accidents or negligence.
* Damage resulting from insufficient maintenance.
* Defects caused by modifications or repairs carried out by third parties.
* Consumable and wear items such as seals, springs, batteries, O-rings and other wear-prone components, unless a proven manufacturing defect exists.

For any warranty claim, proof of purchase or the original repair invoice must be provided.
